If Mama Ain’t Happy, Nobody’s Happy

"If you want to make a movie about self-employed women, shouldn't you make a movie about our family?" Mother and daughter, for example, start working together on a portrait of the four generations above them, who all did it without a man. Slowly, a mysterious family tradition emerges of which the mother is proud, but which the daughter has doubts about.
