At All Cost (Dutch: Onder Druk)

Short documentary

Director

A 4% chance of a job after graduation, unaffordable tuition, extreme work pressure, and - to top it all off - the idea that outstanding scholarly performance is the only way to lay the foundation for a successful career. Exceptional grades and a jam-packed CV comprise the minimum expectation for our future generation of students. "At All Costs" shows the daily reality of students in New York and what they endure at the expense of their mental, emotional and physical limits. Will studying become like a highly competitive sport, and to an increasing extent, self-medication as the ‘doping’ to deal with it all?
