What’s Right

Documentary Series - 4 x 45’ min.

Director

What’s Right is a critical and investigative political-archival series about the dismantling of the Dutch welfare state. Structured as a detective-like journey through the collective memory of the Netherlands, the series examines—step by step, episode by episode—what policy decisions were made, why, by whom, and with what consequences. Turning point by turning point, it reveals how the erosion of social security has transformed our society: how the sense of security came under pressure, how solidarity gave way to individualism, and how feelings of displacement, discontent, and anger ultimately created fertile ground for the far right.
